About Your Training

During your EMT training, you'll learn about human anatomy and physiology. You'll learn how to assess patients. You'll learn about medical emergencies and traumatic injuries and how to treat them the RIGHT way.

Real-World Experience

During your EMT program, you'll have the opportunity to work a clinical shift in any number of Banner Health hospitals in the Phoenix area. You'll get to work side-by-side with ER technicians, nurses, and even doctors on real patients.

AHA Certification

Included in the EMT program is your cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification via the American Heart Association. You'll get the BEST CPR training available and gain the confidence to perform this critical skill for healthcare providers and first responders.

Skills Practice, Tutoring, and More

One of the best parts of AAES is our "open door" policy. Students are welcome to come to school anytime during business hours (we're available on many nights and weekends, too) to practice skills using our equipment, get tutoring with an instructor or proctor, or study with fellow students.
